    Perks: 

    Honey can be used as a topper or included as an ingredient or sweetener in any dishes. According to research, honey is a great alternative for allergies, just take a spoonful a day.  It has been used as a cough suppressant and may have anti-inflammatory effects. 

    Honey has an extended long shelf life and does not spoil.

    Honey should be stored in a sealed container away from direct sunlight. It does not have to be refrigerated, as cooler temperatures cause honey to solidity. Therefore, room temp is best.

    The texture of my honey changed:

    If you honey crystallizes (becomes more solid), it is actually a sign the honey hasn’t been diluted or altered. Some reasons honey may crystallize may be the result of the presence of pollen and cooler temperatures. There is no way to permanently stop honey from crystallizing , but there are ways to slow down the process.  Just simply place the honey jar in hot water.
